4. How We Share Information

Mission Inspections does not sell or rent personal information. We do not provide mobile telephone information or text-message opt-in consent to unrelated third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

  • To independent inspectors, specialists, laboratories, contractors, or other third-party service providers that perform services purchased through or coordinated by Mission Inspections. This includes our properly licensed independent partner that performs wood-destroying insect (WDI) inspections, and may include providers of sewer-scope inspections, mold or environmental testing, engineering evaluations, or similar ancillary services.
  • To the person or entity that ordered the inspection and to other persons authorized by that customer.
  • To service providers that support our operations, such as website hosting, scheduling, inspection software, report delivery, payment processing, accounting, cloud storage, email, telecommunications, text messaging, and professional advisers.
  • To real estate professionals, property owners, occupants, contractors, or others when authorized by the customer or reasonably necessary to perform the requested service.
  • To the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC), another licensing or regulatory authority, an insurer, a court, law-enforcement agency, or another governmental authority when required or permitted by law.
  • In response to a subpoena, court order, audit, investigation, claim, dispute, or other lawful request.
  • To protect the rights, safety, property, or legal interests of Mission Inspections, our customers, or others.
  • In connection with a merger, sale, restructuring, financing, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Third-party inspectors, specialists, laboratories, contractors, and service providers may receive the customer, property, scheduling, access, and transaction information reasonably necessary to perform the contracted service, prepare reports, coordinate appointments, process payment, and communicate results. They may use the information only for the contracted service, their legal and professional obligations, and related recordkeeping, and not for unrelated marketing unless the customer separately consents.

5. Inspection Reports, Photographs, and Records

Inspection reports, photographs, notes, agreements, invoices, and related records may contain information about a property and the persons involved in the inspection. We may retain and use these records for service delivery, quality assurance, training, dispute resolution, insurance, professional, legal, and regulatory purposes.
